GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE GAIATA 15 SEQUIOL CULTURAL ASSOCIATION

Little by little, things are returning to normal. It allows organizing those events that, before the pandemic, were so frequent in the association. However, still many precautions, meeting all hygiene and safety prescriptions and establishing preventive measures such as safety distance, use of masks, and capacity limit. Under these regulations, the association called the General Assembly on Friday, May 28; which agenda included the approval of the financial statements for the Magdalena 2021 -an atypical year we suffered due to the damned pandemic- as well as the approval of the new code of internal policies and residence operations (approved in the last board meeting and it must receive the General Assembly approval as the statute of the association reads).

Just after 8:30 pm, the assembly started on a second call approving the minutes of the last meeting. The President of the Association, Elisabeth Breva, took the floor to detail concisely last fiscal year corresponding to the Magdalena 2021. All of the association members with the right to vote approved the financial statements.

The second item on the agenda was the approval of the new code of internal policies and residence operations. The speaker, Agustín Mon, concisely explained its structure and the modifications included in the new code. As part of the regulation, he informed of personal property inventory. All of the art pieces that are part of the different Gaiatas that Sequiol has submitted an entry to a competition in its history will be identified and certified. They belong to Sequiol heritage. The assembly approved both the new code and the inventory attached.

Just after 9:30 pm, the General Assembly of Sequiol concluded. Little by little, we go back to normal, which would allow us to enjoy the Magdalena 2022 thoroughly. We hope so.
