Procession in honor of the “Virgen del Lledó”

The first Sunday of May, the great day of our Patroness, after the traditional liturgical acts, the general procession took place around the Basilica with the participation of Gaiata 15 Sequiol, represented by several members of the committees for children and adults, Accompanying Marcos, Teresa and Beatriz, our top representatives in the Magdalena 2017.

Through a path of orange leaves and falling from the sky petals of rose, our Mareta left the Basilica one more year to greet his people and to be at his side. Shouts of Viva, masclets and carcasas, music, dance and a lot of feeling around the Lledonera.

Many were the Sequiolos who lived this act firsthand. Nino Turch helping in the organization of the procession as a member that has been of the Brotherhood of the Virgin, as well as barrero of the same for many years. Those who were lucky enough to carry Lledonera on their shoulders were Jorge Martí, Agustín Mon, Javier Ibars, Enrique Carceller and Miguel Sáez. A very demanding task in an afternoon also very warm, but a pride and a great satisfaction above all else. Beside her, Fran Agramunt wore one of the flowerpots that accompany our Mother.
